...and we never will.

BUT, we do collect some data to keep Fish up and running:

1. Your username;
we may retain your username in Fish's memories, or if you have active punishments.

2. Messages that trigger preference optimization;
if you pick your favorite response when Fish outputs multiple we'll retain your message, but it is never trained on - Fish just learns which of its own responses to favor.

3. Chat logs;
they're temporarily stored so Fish has some context when it's prompted in the conversation, they may be retained for a few days. Note this does NOT include any messages in DMs or private channels, they're also never trained on.

4. Data Fish stores about you;
Fish has persistent memory and will remember things automatically or when asked, these memories can store anything Fish decides to remember. Do not input personal information into Fish that you don't want to be retained. Memory data is NEVER sold, shared, trained on, or otherwise publicized. Memories may be reviewed by human moderators, as will any conversation with Fish.
